Uses new magento way of implementing payment gateway, which is from Magento 2.3.x+

Token based, thus makes it easier to become PCI compliant. No credit card information is transmitted to your server or magento site. Uses Pin Payments Pin.js to send credit card details, and get token.

Requires an account with Pin Payments All versions updated to use new pin payments API URL

Why is this payment method not just compatible with all checkout methods out the box? Simple - It uses a TOKEN based payment system, thus fully PCI compliant. Since most checkout extension expect to pass the credit card details to Magento, adjustments are required to make them compatible. At no time are any of the checkout extensions code changed. All compatibility code is handled via javascript objects in the Pin payments module. This allows you to seamlessly update the checkout extensions.

Pay Now button:

Configured order status (such as Pending) will enable a 'Pay Now' button on customer account order view. This pay option will allow secure online payment for orders that were taken over the phone by call centre staff, and stop the need for over the phone clients to pass card details to staff (or via chat)

Client has option to save multiple cards upon checkout, to reuse on next checkout. Card data is saved (and can be managed) on the Pin Payments servers.No credit card data is stored in the magento database, only tokend to the secure saved cards
